Starting a business in CA. What should I do?
My husband and I want to start a consulting business in CA but I am going to be the one running the business as he keeps working on his separate job. We were in doubt about a LLC and sole proprietorship but after I found out about the franchise fee for CA I am back to the sole proprietorship. Is that the best option? And as a husband and wife can we still be treated as a sole proprietorship but have both of our names on the business license?
